~God's Mercies Endureth Forever~

David was well-acquainted with God's Mercies, and had even demonstrated it in his actions. At his finest hour, he had shown himself to be a man of great self-control. Yet, unable to rest on a spring evening, David took a stroll on his upper porch and saw Bathsheba, challenged and hardship had served to make him stronger; restlessness and the beauty of this woman revealed his weakness.

This was David's worst hour, in which he utterly failed God. Eventually, he would abuse his kingly power, deceive one of his best soldiers and have him murdered. David, the man after God's own heart, though acquainted with God's protective and delivering mercy, mercilessly destroyed a man's life-and very nearly his own because he wanted something that was not his to possess.

How ironic-and how human-it seems that the man who showed no mercy cried out for God's mercy; Have mercy on me, O God," David cried in Psalms 51:1, Not because of what he thought he deserved, but because of the God he knew and had experienced in way that many of us have.

There are times in the lives of all of us when only God's Mercies will help. These times may be preceded by a severe fall in our walk with God and in the standard of conduct we hold for ourselves, but not always. Sometimes we are beaten by circumstances; through jobs or family pressures, which become unbearable; or we suffer abuse at the hands of another fellow saint. For each of us there are times when we simply cannot take it any longer. We are miserable, wounded and defeated within our own selves. This shows us that we as a people need God's Mercies all the time, not just when we know we need them, and the good news is that it is available for us for the asking.

Are you hoping for an experience that goes beyond the assurance of God's forgiveness? His Mercy is not something we deserve, not something we can earn. It's not even available because of any love we have for HIM, its simply because of His Love for us that He makes it available to us in all things whether we feel that we deserve it or not if we ask Him, He will restore us. Also, understand that even David was forgiven for what he had done, but there is still a price that he and his whole house paid for his sins. When we do things that we know are not right before God, Yes! He will forgive and His Mercy will cover us and restore us, but in that moment we did loose ground with God, it caused a breach between the connections, and the life was cut from the time of the sin until the sin was repented for. It causes a missing beat, like one having an heart attack and the brain is deprived of oxygen the body goes into a comma and stays there until the right amounts of oxygen is restored back to the blood vessels and members of the body. Once we repent the heart begins to beat again and the body shows signs of the laps in the time that the heart stopped and began again, on the outside it looks like a stroke, an arm, limb something that once moved one way, now moves in a different manner this is the same thing that happens in the spirit man of us, the breach cause a laps in our faith with God, it allows sin to abide and the supernatural of the Holy to be transferred over to the Ungodly Satan your faith is not where it was prior to the fall, when you pray you don't feel the connection like you use to, or when you are around others in High Praise you can't seem to get yourself back into position to receive from God like you use to. You began to step out of Holiness more, and approach more of the things that you use to do, becoming comfortable again with the old man.

David as well as all that lived with him in his house was touched by this one sin that one man acted upon. God commanded the sword to never leave his house, meaning he and his ancestors stayed in warfare due to one act of sin, one small breach committed by one man, what a price to pay! As Jesus holiness, one man cause Nations to become free through His death and burial then resurrection from the Dead Works and the Curse of the Mosaic Law was replaced by the "Blood Covenant" from one single death of the "Lamb of God" Jesus. This let me know that we all need to think about what we do, how we do it and if we in fact should carry it out, how many will be affected by your actions on both sides. Its not just you that will pay, but and entire Body, the Body of Christ its called the "Trickle Down Effect" because in your house you are King or High Priest(ess). So the next time you feel the urge to do something that you know is not of God, "stop" think if over and consider all that will have to be touched by Him for your acting out of His Perfect Will...........

May God bless you this day to know

HIM and His Will in all things in, and how they will affect all that are in your home as well as abroad,

Jesus name, Amen, Amen, Amen
