~The
Storms of Life~
Matthew
14:24-31
But the
ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with
waves: for the wind was contrary. And in the
fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them,
walking on the sea. And when the disciples saw
him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It
is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.
But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of
good cheer; it is I; be not afraid. And Peter
answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me
come unto thee on the water. And he said, Come.
And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he
walked on the water, to go to Jesus. But when he
saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning
to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.
{boisterous: or, strong} And immediately Jesus
stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said
unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou
doubt?
There are two types of Storms that
we in the Body of Christ face. One is a Boisterous
Storm, and the other is A Quite Storm. First Lets talk
about the Boisterous Storm, it is Described as Strong
meaning one feels pressure from the Outside in. When
Peter step out of the Boat it activated a Storm that
surrounded him and him only, he was tested in his
members of weather he believed that he was able to
walk on water as Jesus. As long as Peter stayed on the
boat the Seas, his environment was safe. But as soon
as he activated his faith to step out, be separated
from the bunch, the attack began. We see him setting
his eyes on Jesus and asking permission to come out
from the ordinary into the extraordinary, to step out
of the natural into the Supernatural. Notice that the
men said;
And when the
disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were
troubled, saying, It is a spirit; the reason why they
were troubled is they seen flesh walking on water they
could not perceive the transformation of flesh to
spirit through the activation of Faith. They seen
Jesus as flesh they had experienced Him as Flesh and
Blood, Son of Man but Jesus wanted them to see Him as
Spirit, Son of God therefore, Jesus, in order to teach
them "the how to" transform within a
twinkling of an eye activating His Faith and stepping
out of the boat to walk on the waters of the deep
revelations. Peter seen this manifestation as an
opportunity to separate from the normal to the extreme
and said within himself, I want to do this also, I
want to walk in the Deep things of God. How many of us
have spoken these same words? Jesus plants the seed by
allowing them to see Him do the impossible in the
flesh but possible in the Spirit. Peter was the only
ground on that boat that received it into himself.
With his mustard seed faith he asked Jesus,
"Master bid me come", and Jesus stood and
replied "Come".
Once Peter stepped out of the boat, the transformation
of being flesh pressed over into being spirit
and the walk in the impossible became the possible.
The Storm was activated and began to blow he felt the
pressure from the outside in the conditions in his
seasons changed to overtake him by presenting fear as
a factor to his members in seeing with his natural
eyes while walking with his spiritual eyes. We
see the Boat being tossed, waves crashing against it
the others in the boat screaming for help from fear of
dyeing the Quite Storm. There faith was dead
faith fear kept them hostage within the boat, bound by
the what they trusted in (the boat) for protection
instead of "Jesus". It is a false
faith to put your trust in. This Storm is an
outward pressure, it comes as a Rowing Lion, it gives
off loud sounds of destruction in order to
incapacitate the person who is attempting to step out.
It manifests itself as being "Greater Than
you", and shows you all the reasons why you cant.
It troubles your waters, where you began to trouble
its waters and your very members to know that you cant
do this, its imposable to do. It paralyses
you and keeps you looking at it until you began to
sink and almost lose the blessings, the visions,
one asks "Jesus", help me. We see
Peter, being lifted in his faith and also rebuked by
the Master for not trusting Him. This is the
Boisterous Storm, it has a voice that is present and
uses the elements of this Earth that surround us
to present its case against us.
~The
Quite Storm:~
I
Samuel 16:13-23
Then
Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the
midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the LORD came
upon David from that day forward. So Samuel rose up,
and went to Ramah. But the Spirit of the LORD
departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD
troubled him. And Saul's servants said unto him,
Behold now, an evil spirit from God troubleth thee.
Let our lord now command thy servants, which are
before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning
player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the
evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play
with his hand, and thou shalt be well. And Saul
said unto his servants, Provide me now a man that can
play well, and bring him to me. Then answered
one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a
son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in
playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war,
and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the
LORD is with him. Wherefore Saul sent messengers unto
Jesse, and said, Send me David thy son, which is with
the sheep. And Jesse took an ass laden with
bread, and a bottle of wine, and a kid, and sent them
by David his son unto Saul. And David came to
Saul, and stood before him: and he loved him greatly;
and he became his armourbearer. And Saul sent to
Jesse, saying, Let David, I pray thee, stand before
me; for he hath found favour in my sight. And it
came to pass, when the evil spirit from God was upon
Saul, that David took an harp, and played with his
hand: so Saul was refreshed, and was well, and the
evil spirit departed from him.
The Quite Storm troubles you from the inside out, it
is when you are being tormented from within your
members you want to get away from you, you cant stand
your own self, you want to separate from you. It is a
silent death, where you are not able to put into
words what is happening to you nor can you ask for
help to escape because you are a Leader in the Body
of Christ and Leaders just don't have these problems
they lead neither can you ask for help from another
because this vessel has to be hand picked by God and
sent to praise you out. Your mind is being bombarded
by many things issues of this world and you are
unable to process all of the thoughts at once, which
give you the feeling of drowning and going crazy
within your mind. You feel overwhelmed with pressure
from within and it causes you to react in the flesh
with rage towards others, you hear them say things
like, "why are you so angry"? "Whets
your problem"? "Why are you acting this
way"? All very good questions however, you don't
have the answers if you did you would come out from
this Quite Storm and settle your flesh by commanding
it to surrender to the Spirit of God in His Peace. We
also find that when we are in this type of Storm we
desire to be left alone, and the faintest sounds
around us makes us feel like we want to screen, you
are sensitive to any types of sounds around you, or
strange touches to your body. Fear is a major factor
again and its job is the same as with the Raging
Storm to take you hostage and keep you from
experiencing the stepping out in Faith.
The person becomes very picky about being with any
person (s) at anytime you find that it is now hard
for any to please you in helping you as they once
did. You find yourself being happy and praising God
one minute and the next your cursing and wanting to
die, its like a yo-yo up and down. This Storm tears
at your very being, it pulls your strongman down,
takes the master of the house and ties him up it you
find yourself held captive and it holds you in a
private cell. You are placed on display for others to
see you and mock you and cut you down. You can hear
the voices from within and around you, there are
other cells here just like the one you are in holding
others captive, yet you can not speak to each other
you can only hear the voices. These voices sounds
just like you talking to you and the reason why is
these are the voices of those in the Body with you
and have been trained liken unto you to war the same
as you. The sounds in this Quite Storm are very
settle in attacking, it takes a period of time to
fore fill its mission. Not like the Raging Storm
where it just does it quickly, this one is more
department to you very existence because it silent
and only you can hear it although you surrounded by
many who are present with you going thru the same
Quite Storm.
This particular type of attack of the enemy is a close
up and personal attack. It causes you to set the
"Seasons" for others around you by your
actions it produces a Storm with a Storm effect.
Whereby, whatever you do while in this attack effects
the whole Body of Christ in service as well as at
home, saved or unsaved it does not matter the results
are still the same they are victims to your attack and
your not knowing how to get out. There is no peace in
the Quite Storm until you understand that its is a
Quite Storm and then discern the difference between
the Raging Storm from the Quite Storm nobody else is
feeling it but you and if they are, they don't know
how to get out either.
In the
Raging Storm we see that "Jesus" instructs
us to speak;
~Peace
be still~
Outwardly
and the Storm will become at peace. But with the Quite
Storm, one must first identify the source the feelings
that are producing the tribulation from within and
speak peace to ones self command your flesh to
"shut up". Speak, "It is
Written" Php 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which
was also in Christ Jesus: "It is Written"
Mark 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with
all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy
mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first
commandment. "It is Written" Rom. 7:23 But I
see another law in my members, warring against the law
of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law
of sin which is in my members. This is how Jesus
defeated Satan in the desert, Mt 4:3 And when the
tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of
God, command that these stones be made bread. Mt 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man
shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that
proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Mt 4:5 Then
the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and
setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple, Mt 4:6
And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast
thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his
angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they
shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy
foot against a stone. Mt 4:7 Jesus said unto
him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the
Lord thy God. {tempt: or, try, or, put to trial, or,
proof} Mt 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up
into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all
the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
Mt 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I
give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.
Mt 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence,
Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord
thy God, and him only shalt thou serve. This is
a battle in your mind and we must attack it with the
Word as Jesus did we must also do. He was alone,
separated by himself in the Quite Strom.
Turn on
that praise and worship music, put that CD on play
that Praise tape put it on, listen to the Winds of the
Still soft voice, Put on the garment of Praise, dance
your way out, dance a holy dance unto God, this takes
movement on your part to break out of bondage from the
pit. God sent David to Quite the Storm that was
within Saul, thru David's anointing as he played
Psalms Saul was rested from the attack in his mind.
God always sends help when you are in this area, the
thing is, will you accept who He sends or reject the
sent condemning yourself to more torment? The
choice is yours.
May His
Blessing be upon you and your household
