A Completed Jew

What is a "completed Jew", you say

Let me tell you about it in my own way.

I was born a Jew and once was ashamed

My life was full of sin and everyone I blamed.



And then I met Jesus, His Words were so true

When I accepted Him as Savior, I grew and grew.

He called me to Him and said, "Do not doubt

I will take care of you if you follow my route."



His Holy Spirit indwelt me, He showed me the way

As I faithfully studied His Word day by day.

I have learned all about Him and each day I pray

As I kneel down beside the bed where I lay.

So now can you see that in Christ I'm complete

I'm still a Jew but I'll never, never retreat.

I continue to give Him every part of my life

I'll follow my Lord Jesus even in strife.



We have an intimate relationship, O what great joy

Each day is exciting, like a brand new toy.

I trust, honor, and obey Him, my service I give

To Him I give all glory as long as I live.
