Dealing With Doubts

There are times when I may have doubts,

Even when I want to believe. 

And this is a perfectly normal reaction,

Though it may seem hard to conceive.



First, I must realize that doubts will come

Some at different times in my life.

They do come for many different reasons,

And they will always cause me strife.

Secondly, I need to accept the evidence 

That God will always provide for me.

So I must see what doubt really is,

And trust in God, don't you agree.



At times it can be a huge obstacle

That stands in my way to grow strong.

But many times it is just an opportunity

That makes me see the need to belong.



So how do I handle these doubts about God?

What will I do to make them all go away?

I must have faith and see beyond this test

God's Word is always here to stay.
