I Praise You, O Lord

I praise You, O Lord, as the Mighty One of all
You are the fairest and always at my beck and call
Your majestic glory and victories are my power
Your throne is forever, You are my High Tower

You hold the scepter of righteousness in Your hand
On Your promises each day I will stand
Your name is remembered by all who You love
And people shall praise You on earth and above

Heavenly Father, grace and mercy I have in this life
When I am obedient to You I will have no strife
Help me, Lord, to put into action all that You ask
You have spoken to my heart, in You do I bask

May I move on from where You have placed me this day
To become all that You desire is what I daily pray
Keep me focused on Your will for You know what is best
Keep me ever mindful and faithful of when I need Your rest

For that which You have done, are doing, and will do
I will always give You the glory because You are true
Help me not to lose faith every time I feel a new pain
O Lord God, with You, may I always remain
