Listen
to me, O God
Listen to me, O
God, my Father,
listen to my plea.
Each morning as I
come before Your
throne
I lay my requests
before You and
then wait and see.
I
know that You hear
me, Your presence
I feel
And by Your great
mercy I come into
Your house
In reverence and
adoration I will
kneel.
Because
of Your love, it's
easy to confess
You make a
straight path for
me
And guide me in
Your
righteousness.
I
take refuge in You
and I am Oh so
glad
I rejoice and sing
praises with joy
How could I ever
be sad.
O
Lord how You bless
me, what more can
I say
Your love is
unconditional and
unfailing
All I want to do
is come before You
and pray.

A
New Heart
God
has given me a new
heart
And now I know the
reason why.
He reached into my
life of sorrow
And lifted me
heavenly to the
sky.
He
exchanged my
stony, sinful
heart
With one that
beats with love.
His transplant was
O so
spiritual,
It fits me just
like a glove.
How
awesome is this
God of mine
To Him I owe my
life.
My days of sadness
are gone for good
No longer is there
strife.
I
have His Spirit
within me
To live for Him
alone
He gives me all
the power I need
Christ Jesus did
atone.

(In
1970 I
had open
heart
surgery
and the
prognosis wasn't
what I
really
wanted
to hear
but I
accepted
it and
began
living
my life
day by
day.
Twenty
five
years
later
this
awesome
God
called
me to
Himself
and I've
been
serving
Him ever
since.
Wouldn't
you say
He has a
purpose
for my
life?
This
poem is
dedicated
to Him.)
Lovingly
in
Christ,
