Go
through His open gates with great thanksgiving;
enter His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him
and bless His name. For the Lord is always good.
He is always loving and kind, and His
faithfulness goes on and on to each succeeding
generation. (Psalm 100:4,5)
Isn't it wonderful that
He is always faithful to us and to generations
to come even when we aren't faithful to Him? He
is truly worthy of praise because of Who He is
(He is Love, Sovereign, Wise, Powerful, Great,
Good, Holy, and Unchanging) and because of all
that He has done for each of us. His benefits to
us are too numerous to mention; see Psalm 103,
many are expressed there.
We should never take
for granted these benefits that we enjoy as a
result of belonging to Him. Praise toward Him
should be on our lips throughout the day as we
recall His many attributes and all of His
blessings to us. I will extol the LORD at all
times; his praise will always be on my lips. My
soul will boast in the LORD; let the afflicted
hear and rejoice. Glorify the LORD with me; let
us exalt his name together. (Psalm 34:1-3)
Start
each day by praising Him for what He has done
for you the past day and thank Him in advance
for what He will be doing for you. We all love
to hear people praise us and thank us and our
Loving God is no exception. Yes, I know, He
already knows our hearts but tell Him anyway.
You'll be glad you did.
To God be the Glory, great things He has done
Lovingly in Christ,
Carole
"The LORD is my strength and my shield; my
heart trusts in Him...
My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to
Him in song" (Psalm28:7)
