My Reason for Living



God has given me a special reason for living

And He continues to give me seasons of giving

When I obey the prompting of His Holy Spirit

His light is within me and I’m ready to commit



He has given me Jesus Christ, who is my Lord

When I’m available to serve Him, He will reward

I am committed to fulfilling His will for my life

What He says to do I must do or there will be strife



Pleasing Him exceeds my desire to please man

So I submit to His leading whenever I can

Without hesitation or argument I follow His lead

Sometimes He tells me to only plant a seed



He gives me opportunities to grow in a spiritual way

I am always ready to trust and obey day by day. 

Without regard to circumstances, time or space

With His love and grace I will finish the race.
