Jesus
Satisfies Our Souls
You open your hand and satisfy the desire
of every living thing. (Psalm 145:16)
It is Jesus who satisfies our souls.
It is with the beauty of His
righteousness that we are
clothed.
When
we are hungry, it is His hand that feeds
us. When we are discouraged, it is
His unspeakable joy that floods our hearts
and renews our hope.
When
we are weak, it is His strength that
enables us to continue. When we are
lonely, He is a true friend.
When
our hearts are broken, He is a comfort and
consoler. When we are afraid or in
trouble, He is our refuge.
When
there seems to be no way possible, He
makes a way. When we are sad, it is
His hand that wipes away our
tears.
He
is truly our all. All that we could
possibly need or desire we will find in
Him.
We come into your presence
today with thankful hearts,
singing and speaking praises
to your name. No matter where
we may search, there is no
other that satisfies like you.
You are our all and we thank
you, more than words can
adequately express. You have
given us joy and peace, hope
and life. Jesus sweetest
name there is. You are
water to our souls, and you
satisfy our thirst. We
Praise your holy name forever
and ever! Amen.
