Sharing the Gospel is important at best,

So, my dear children, here is a little test.

What is the Gospel you may ask of me?

Here are four truths I want you to see.

The first is the truth about who God is.

And if you know that, you are surely a whiz.

To me He is the holy Creator who has made us all.

Because I’m dependent on Him, He’s the one I call.

I’m always in His hands and under His watchful eye.

When I think of how He cares for me I want to cry.

The truth about sin is really hard to take,

It’s an offense against God that causes a break.

I feel guilty for the wrong that I’ve done,

But because He loves me, to Him I can run.

I want to repent and be reconciled to Him.

The alternative is very, very grim.

Then there is the truth about Jesus Christ, God’s only Son.

He is the only God-Man that got things done.

He was sent to save sinners according to God’s will.

His death on the Cross, satisfied that perfect bill.

He was raised from the dead and conquered sin

You can now have His victory and will surely win.

Jesus ascended back to His Father’s right hand,

Where He is enthroned and reigns with God to command.

The reasonable response to what God has done for you

Is Your faith in Christ and a hope of a new life that is true.

If you repent and change your mind and your heart,

You’ll certainly be given a brand new start.

On the basis of these truths about God, Jesus and sin

What will your answer be so that you too will win?

In light of the truth, how will you reply to the Lord?

Will you now receive Jesus Christ as the living Word?

He forgives all of your sins and saves you from strife

Please make my Jesus Your Savior for life?
