What
we expect...
Ebony
Homeschoolers does not, currently, have a
membership fee, however, we gladly accept donations. There will be a
membership fee beginning with the 2005-2006 school year. We have a few basic
requirements to keep things running smoothly.
All
members of Ebony Homeschoolers are required to:
·
be
current MHEA
members. Our members are strongly
urged to be members of HSLDA
as well.
·
regularly
attend support group meetings.
In
addition to the afore mentioned, all members are expected
to
·
assist
Ebony Homeschoolers in fulfilling its obligation to MHEA to promote the annual
MHEA conference. Our primary duty to the conference is to assist
in the conference registration process.
·
be
responsible in homeschooling and abide by the rules set forth by the state of
Tennessee. If any are uncertain, contact the group leader,
MHEA,
or HSLDA.
·
be
faithful and timely in paying all promised monies, i.e. field trips, EH
programs, activities, etc.
·
abide
by the established guidelines of Ebony Homeschoolers. (See
Statement
of Purpose)
All
members of Ebony Homeschoolers are also expected
to:
·
actively
participate in the routine operations of the group. Ebony
Homeschoolers is growing. Members may serve in several areas. A listing
of places to serve will be available at the monthly meetings.
Each member is expected to select, at least, two jobs from the "How I Can
Help" lists.
·
notify
leadership of changes in contact info, births, birthdays, etc.
·
stay
in contact with the leadership and general membership.
·
regularly
participate in the programs and activities set forth by Ebony Homeschoolers.
