The purpose of this network is for support and encouragement, but it's also to offer real solutions from other parents who struggle with the same issues. Come on in and make new friends at the New Rising Homeschool Network!

COLORU

The people of color school on the internet - a site dedicated to providing education that relates to people of color.  I don't know if there's enough there to compile an entire curriculum, but certainly excellent supplements.  Clearly worth a look see.  If anyone does the tutorials, let me know what you thought about it.  From what I've seen, the classes are self-paced.  This is great for the older student to work more independently, but you might be able to scale it back for a younger child.  Best of all ....  it's FREEEEEE!!
