God's Everlasting Faithfulness


So great is our God's faithfulness,
So vast our Father's love,
So marvelous His wondrous works
Portrayed in skies above.

The sun, the moon, the stars declare
And testify each hour;
Each awesome handiwork displayed
Gives witness to His pow'r.

From early dawn to setting sun,
From night to new-born day,
God's everlasting faithfulness
Is always on display.

Though storm clouds often fill our skies
And dim our earthly view,
God's compassions never fail us,
Each day they are anew.

And though the stars refuse to shine,
The moon falls from the sky,
God's mercy and His faithfulness
We never can deny.

So great is our God's faithfulness,
Of this we can be sure,
Forever and forevermore
His mercies will endure.
