The Light of Hope


The light of hope shines clear and bright
Amid the darkness of the night,
A ray of hope of love and joy
Which Satan's wiles cannot destroy.

A symbol of tranquility,
Where mankind dwells in unity;
Where war and strife cannot assail,
Nor darkness, in God's light, prevail.

A time besought where love will reign
And harmony of hearts attain;
The clashing of mankind will cease
And forev'r we will live in peace.

He who is the "Light of the World,"
His flag of peace shall be unfurled
And wave from sea to shining sea
From henceforth through eternity.
