Conformed to His Image

I came to Christ in repentance one day,
Made my heart His throne to love and obey.
The Holy Spirit drew me to His side.
By faith I believed that, for me, He died;

A miraculously changed heart, you see.
Before...my focus was centered in me.
Now, I really want His will above all,
And pray that you may one day hear His call.

His Word helps me to examine my soul.
He leads as I relinquish to His control.
His image in me will soon be complete,
But not 'til I see Him, sit at His feet.

His conforming work will take my life long;
His love and patience guiding me are strong.
He'll help me to reach out in that same love
'Til I see Him face to face in realms above.
