The Rose

Life is like a Rose
beginning to bloom.
It starts out so tiny and minute
you really can't see it.
Yet soon that rose becomes a stem,
with thorns on the side.
When they poke it hurts
Usually for a long time.

All the sudden
the bud starts to grow,
Some excitement comes with it.
But the pain is still deep,
within that rose.

The rose starts to bloom.
It grows on the inside
as well as the outside.
Some of the growth in the rose
is exactly where it is supposed to be.
Other times that rose decides
its time to close up just one more time.
Finally every petal of the rose
starts to bloom; one step at a time,
It opens up as if it was a door of growth.

Suddenly someone comes along,
pulls the petals off of it.
Soon that rose starts it die
from the inside out,
what once was a beautiful growth
is now a planted seed.
Soon thereafter, that rose
begins to bloom into another one.
The growth begins again.

All things are possible
in Jesus Christ name!
Please let us plant
a seed inside of you.
