In Loving Memory
My Tribute To Wes
We can't understand why things
happen as they do;
We search for answers everywhere
but the answers won't come through
Our hearts are filled with sadness and
our tears are flowing fast;
Remembering all the good times which
now are gone and past.
Lord, Wes was loved by all of us and
You know we're going to miss him so;
He brought us all so much joy;
Now we ask why did He have to go?
Our hearts were not prepared for this
We prayed you'd heal and make him
whole;
We know he loved you Lord, with all
his heart and soul.
Your Word tells us there is a time
and a purpose for all things;
We just can't help but question when
such sorrow to our lives it brings.
One thing we know for certain and
to us your Word imparts;
Eternal life with You awaits for those
who have You in their hearts!
We know Wes is no longer suffering
You have freed Him from all pain.
And one day there in heaven, we will
meet with him again.
We will hold onto our memories and
look forward to that day;
When all sorrow will be banished and
all tears are wiped away.
