BUTTERCUP SMILES

A lonely little buttercup
on this cool September day
Touched my heart, as I walked along,
and I know it changed my way.
It is awesome how our Father works
to teach us in subtle ways;
He knew that little buttercup
was just like sunshine rays.
A heart may be sad and lonely -
until something lifts it up;
I'm sure God had that plan in mind
when he placed that buttercup.
A flower is like a smile for some -
or a smile could resemble a flower;
So when I smile at someone in passing
I feel that my smile has power.
It's the little things we oft forget
and our Heavenly Father knows,
So, on this cool September day
His buttercup lesson He shows.
A smile costs us nothing -
but it gives so much in return;
For a smile is usually passed along
and that is what I've learned.
Thank you God for buttercup smiles
and Your many other gifts;
I see Your Wisdom every day
when I see how a smile lifts.

Joan, you know just how special
buttercups are to me, and I thank
you so very much for sharing your
lovely poem with me.

I made this page for a very "special" man.
My loving husband of 37 wonderful years.
Buttercups have a very special place in my
heart. On the day we were married my sweetheart
picked me a bouquet of buttercups and gave them
to me. In the area where we live, buttercups,
start to bloom in February. Every year he searches
for the first buttercups that bloom, so that he can
bring me a bouquet of my favorite flowers.
We celebrated our 37th anniversary this past
February 24. In these all these wonderful years,
he has never, missed bringing me, my bouquet
of the buttercups, tokens of the love we have shared.

Heavenly Father,
I thank you for sending this wonderful man into
my life, to be my life's love and my soulmate for
all times.
AMEN

The music playing "Keeper Of The Star"
is our special song. For we believe that
God meant for us to be together as "soulmates"
in this life time.
Thank you, Lord.
