Nature Speaks of His Wonder

The wonders of Your perfect nature,
My God, is a breathless thing to see.
It sets me in complete awe.
It is all set in motion, at your decree.

From the highest majestic mountain top
Down to the deepest ocean floor,
They stand as a living testament
That You are forever more.

Nothing will rise or fall
Lest You ordain it to be so.
There is nothing, absolutely nothing.
That You wouldn't or couldn't know ...

The rise of the ocean swell or
The littlest pebble that may fall.
You are the Lord God of creation.
They are Yours, one and all ...

From the spill of the water fall
Into the basin below; sends spray in the air.
There, too, is the wonder of You;
Knowing that You are there.

Every thing that breathes, my Lord,
Is filled with what You give.
'Tis your breath that endues all things
With the power and strength to live.

What, O Lord, do You see,
From where You sit in the highest?
Am I but a speck with a heart beat?
But, with Your attributes, I am blessed.

You gave me eyes to see Your world.
You give me lips to sing Your praise.
You give me ears to hear Your voice
And two hands, in worship, to raise.

You give me feet to follow in Your steps.
You give me a mind to think and do.
You gave me arms to embrace this life and
A heart to give up ~ to the wonder of You.

This Is My Prayer

Bless Me, Heavenly Father, forgive my erring ways,
Grant me strength to serve Thee, Put purpose in my days...
Give me understanding, enough to make me kind
So I may judge all people with my heart and not my mind...
And teach me to be patient in everything I do,
Content to trust your wisdom and follow after you...
And help me when I falter and hear me when I pray
And receive me in thy kingdom to dwell with thee some day.

But it is good for me to draw near to God:
I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,
that I may declare all thy works.
