My Ship
My ship is loaded and ready to go
Sails are waving in the winds that blow.
It is the set of my sails, and not the gales,
That tell which way my ship will go.
As my ship sails over the deep blue sea,
God is the captain don't you see.
As the wind blows, it passes every test,
My ship is in the hands of the very best.
As my ship sails toward the shore
I know a lighthouse I soon will see
Shinning its beacon out to sea.
Without this lighthouse where would my ship be.
God is the anchor of my ship in life,
Freeing my soul from all sin and strife.
He is my lighthouse above the sea,
With His loving arms He is holding me.
