I walked hills and valleys
What do you think was there
I went through mountains and deserts
Nothing else could compare
A babbling brook on one side
A hugh oak tree on the other
A school of little fishes were swimming
A tiny baby squirrel...scampered to his mother
I love to be out in the country
Mother nature made it just right
The flowers that grow on the hillside
Make it a wonderful site
I don't like the life of the city
All of the talk of pollution
I don't like the crackerbox houses
The rat race and the boozin'
Me, I like to out in the country
Breathing the pure fresh air
I like the feel of the sunshine
And the wind blowing my hair
I'd like to stay where I'm walking
And till the soil of the valley
I don't why I'm a talkin'
There's no one here but the birds and me...
