~A Child's Prayer~

Dear God, I need your help today,
I know that you will listen while I pray.
I'm so confused I don't know what to do,
My heart is hurting and I'm so blue.

The tears just fall down my face,
All the love that I can't replace.
Why do they have to fuss and fight?
We are family and this just isn't right!

The words they say are all so bad,
And they are always making me so sad.
Why can't they just learn how to forgive?,
Then we can just go on and live.

God, I pray that you will touch them all,
Before this wonderful family falls.
If you could help then we could be,
Once again a family! Amen.
