Dear Daddy,
You are leaving again so soon after
coming home from serving in Kosovo.
You have only been home 5 months,
when we got the news that you had to go to Iraq.
You have been in Ft. Bragg since August and
now you are leaving to go to Iraq
We can't believe you won't
be home for Christmas again.
We will miss you so very much.
But Daddy just look up at the stars
at night, you will see us
sending you hugs and kisses.
We ask God to send an angel
to watch over you while you are in Iraq
and we know that God will be there too.
So don't worry about anything here,
we will take good care of Mommie and Nana.
We will count down the days until you
are safely back home again.
So Daddy, please come home soon.

My Deareast Husband,
I love you with all my heart
and I will miss you so while you are gone.
Here goes our third deployment
but hey we have survived too
and we shall survive this one
with the help of the God Lord,
we are going to to put this one in His hands.
But you keep in mind that me
and the boys will be here
waiting for your safe return.
You dont worry about us we we will be find,
just keep safe and remember that whenever, or
wherever, around the world that you are
always in my heart and
I love you no matter what!
I dont know if I say it enough
but I am proud of you
and what you do to make this world safe
not just for us
but for the other Americans as well.

Rusty I am so proud to say you are my son.
You are not only a good father and husband
but I am honored to say you are my son too.
I wish I coould make this
departure easier for you,
but I know that I can't and that really
hurts more than anything else.
Because a Mother should be able
to comfort her children no matter
what the circumstances are,
but right now I am at a loss for words.
I wish I could assure you that everything
will be fine while you were gone.
I wish I could promise you
that nothing will happen
to you or your family but
only God has control of that.
I can promise is that if
I have any control at all
I will do my best to make sure that things
run as smoothly as possible and
that the months will fly by so fast
that you will not be able to believe it.
I promise that my love for you
will grow each day and I promise if you
need me no matter what it is
I will do what I can for you.
