A little about Melba McVay Christie

I was born in Jena, Louisiana in 1939 to Rev. & Mrs. Y.W. McVay. I attended school in Leakesville, Ms. Married Mikle Christie in 1963; and lived in several places in S. Louisiana while my husband worked in the oil fields. Our oldest son was born in Galliano, La. in 1968. We moved to Magnolia, Ar. when Anthony was two months old. Our younger son Gary Owen was born in 1970;

I have worked as a Social & Activities Director in a nursing home and had my basics in nursing. I also performed worked as a medical sitter in homes and hospitals. We owned a carpet & furniture cleaning business for several years.

I was filled with the Holy Spirit in 1972 and have never regretted turning my life over to God. My husband received the Holy Spirit a few months later.

God took a group of people and made us a family and a house and made it a home and He is head of our home.

I'm a Christian writer. I have written most all of the writings on this website and the Lord has allowed me to write four books, which you will find information for on this site.
