"I AM SO BLESSED"
I was so blest by my Saviour and His righteous hand
Blessed to spread the good news througout the land.
I have been blessed and touched by an angel who appeared
And asked me to write my poems.
Blest by the love of my life, my husband, who gives me
peace and tranqulity in my home.
GOD, only You have blessed me from the day I was born
Only for You could I accept any pain, suffering, or scorn.
You gave me a will to carry on with my life
to be a good Witness for You each new day.
In your world of beauty I will forever accept Your gifts
And want to continue to stay.
When You come to get me when my life on earth is over
I want to walk with You in that green grass of clover.
You gave me peace that refreshed my soul
You touched my life and made me whole.
I give You praise and thanks for the life I have been given
And I will be blest until You take me with You in heaven.

Love is an unselfish commitment
Between a women and a man.
A gentle spirit that comes from deep inside
Love is something I give and never try to hide.
Always striving for you to do better
Never causing you to sin.
It is warmth and a beauty that is so hard to find
It lights up your heart and takes over your mind.
It's a once in a lifetime feeling that you receive
only from the Master
An unconditional bond for now and forever after.
A oneness that only two can describe
A reason for living and keeping your hopes
And dreams alive.
It's giving of yourself to others
No matter who they may be.
Love is an open book
and it's made for the whole world to see.
It makes you feel important and it lets you like yourself
Never tuck it away or put it on a shelf.
Love to me is an acceptance, never questioning the reason
Love is a family who worships the Lord
and lives under His realm
Always making Him the head of the household
and putting Him at the helm.
They say in the Bible that love suffers long
and it is kind;
Love does not envy.
It will make you change until the day you die
I know the truth and on Jesus's love I can rely.
Love is pure as the driven snow
It gave me respect and grace and through me
it will surely flow.
I give you my love and let it come back to me
For it's value is worth more then millions and it is free.

"How am I Blessed"
I am blessed by a God who loves me
He will forever keep me close, safe and free.
I am blessed by a loving family and good friends
For it is on Jesus that my life depends
He is my ray of sunshine at the end of each day
He taught me to think with an open mind
and to get down on my knees and pray.
I am blessed by a forgivng heart
where a warmth and beauty will never depart.
The greatest gifts that were ever given and sent
Were from my Saviour and not a cent was ever spent
You don't need riches or alot of fame
He taught me to be myself and to act the same
He gave me freedom to worship as I choose
And alot of blessings with a home, clothes,
and a brand new pair of shoes
Special blessings were given to me all of my life
Because I chose to love the Master
and end division and strife
He picked me out and forgave my sins
and wiped the slate clean
That's why my blessings have so much meaning
and on Him I will continue to lean.
