"In My Father's House"
In my Father's house I want to dwell
I want to escape the pits of that fiery hell.
In His mansion there are many rooms.
Some may never make it
For they live with a spirit of doom.
He's always standing at that open gate
Waiting for you to unlock your heart
And turn away from your anger and hate.
His door is always opened; it would never be locked
Confess with your lips you're a sinner
And don't put up a stumbling block.
Line the inner walls of your Father's House
With Faith, Hope and Love
So His mansion will become a place to live
With Peace that comes from above.
He's the rock of our foundation
For which this house is made and built
When a storm comes, the rafters may shake but, never tilt.
Let His peace be your sanctuary and everlasting guide
From Him you can seek and find.
When you need a quiet place to kneel and pray.
He'll find you a room where you can stay.
Words can't express the beauty that fills His House
You can be a good witness and spread the Good News
He'll let you decorate the walls
With whatever colors you choose.
Burgandy, teal, pink or even blue
His love will keep you safe and see you through.
A house will become a happy home
With our Saviour inside.
You will find contentment and plenty of space to roam.
Go decorate your home with the gifts He sends
Your heart will seek joy and delight.
Knowing your Savior will keep you safe during the night.
God is the head of this household.
It takes more then the Ten Commandments
Or a few scriptures for you to enter, let alone stay
It's on Salvation and Grace that your rent will be paid.
Your street in front will be lined in gold and have a name.
For the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have all ready signed and the deed's been made

Hero
There's a hero
If you look inside your heart
You don't have to be afraid
Of what you are
There's an answer
If you reach into your soul
And the sorrow that you know
Will melt away
And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone
Look inside you and be strong
And you'll finally see the truth
That a hero lies in you
It's a long road
When you face the world alone
No one reaches out a hand
For you to hold
You can find love
If you search within yourself
And the emptiness you felt
Will disappear
And then a hero comes along
With the strength to carry on
And you cast your fears aside
And you know you can survive
So when you feel like hope is gone

Dreams are hard to follow
But don't let anyone
