" Mother's Prayer"

Tucked neatly in the pages of a Mother's
Bible the day she died
Was a beautiful message for four daughters
to seek and to find.

My sisters and I didn't always stay together
nor did we always agree
Until my mother asked us to love unconditionally.

Scribbled on a piece of paper
and written by a Mother's hand
A love note will cement four sisters together
And the Good News of Jesus
will be spread all over the land.

Valuable life's lessons learned, and joined together by the love of two parents
Will bring her family together
and never let them depart
For the unconditional love of a mother will be tucked away neatly in their hearts.

"May the good Lord keep your family together
and bring you a brighter tomorrow is my wish for all of you."

A true story written by Nancy Hoback, 2002

"SISTERS

As I look at all of you I see
an inner beauty that can only be measured
by a heart as pure as gold.
Two loving parents who brought us together and started the mold.

Each of you are different
in your own special way
With a set of values that came
and stayed along life's highway.

I see a twinkle in your eyes of Jesus
who gave us love and so much to share
A rare beauty to pass on to our children
to let them know how much we care.

Sometimes we have stumbled along life's journey and had to find a new way.
We picked ourselves up and dusted ourselves off for Jesus came to us four
and I know He lives in us today.

We have so much that we can
offer and share.
If I called on one of you,
I know you'd be right there.

A friendship is kindled here on earth
Never to be broken by any of us
for nothing can take away all of it's worth.

My friendship I give to you
for I love you my sisters.
In you I see a beauty that is rare.
Our love will last forever
it can never be compared

I'll treasure our childhood pictures
and the memories in my mind.
Joy, laughter, tears all unfold.
for our parents brought us together and we learned
what it is to be diligent, trusting and kind.

As the oldest of four I was made to see
That something special was awaiting me.
Four sisters put together by God and his righteous hand.
Let's live life in holiness and give all the blessings
to our Savior and fulfill His plan.

As sisters we thank our parents
for how we were raised.
And give the Master His rightful praise.

I thank Him for all the times
I was lonely and needed a friend.
My heart was broken and you prayed
it would mend.

Your love was given and it will never depart.
For all three of you will remain
forever in my heart.

This is dedicated to my three sisters who are the best.
We'll be bonded together until God calls us home to rest.
