We thank God for all those who are serving or have served in the Armed Forces of the United States of America. To their families, we express our love, our prayers and support. Let us always remember those that lost their lives to protect our freedom. Let us lift up daily all those who are serving around the world that the Lord protect them and bring them home quickly to loved ones.

The following is a sheet I created when we returned to Iraq the second time. Our church would meet every morning to pray and read each name on the list. If you would like to use it, feel free to copy and paste to a word document. I have not included the personal names on my list so the third column would be names of those you know who are serving. Let us pray our men and women home safely. God bless our Servicemen and Servicewomen!

Psalm 91 Prayer Names
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most
High shall abide under theshadow of the
Almighty.I will say of the LORD, He is my
refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I
trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the
snare of the fowler, and from the noisome
pestilence. He shall cover thee with his
feathers, and under his wings shalt thou
trust: his truth shall be thy shield and
buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the
terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth
by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in
darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth
at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side,
and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it
shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes
shalt thou behold and see the reward of the
wicked. Because thou hast made the LORD,
which is my refuge, even the most High, thy
habitation; There shall no evil befall thee,
neither shall any plague come nigh thy
dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge
over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They
shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou
dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt
tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion
and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
Because he hath set his love upon me,
therefore will I deliver him:I will set him on
high, because he hath known my name. He
shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I
will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him,
and honour him. With long life will I satisfy
him, and shew him my salvation.
Father, I pray for all of our servicemen and
women. Please watch over them and keep
them safe from the enemy. Protect them by
night and through the day. Let no harm
come upon them

With their eyes, let them see, with their ears
let them hear and discern the comings and
goings of the enemy. Send your angels to
guard them day and night and let no one
come near their tents to harm them. Guard
every step they take.

No weapon formed against them can
prosper. Break the power of the enemy.
Touch the hearts of our servicemen and
women to call upon You each day. If there
are those that don’t know you as Savior,
let them see Jesus in Your children.

Thank you, Father for all our servicemen
and servicewomen that serve our countries
to protect us and for those who serve You.
Please bring them home safely.

In Jesus name… AMEN
All Military

United States of America
President And Vice President

”whitehouse"

As we pray for the new president, we cannot do so half-heartedly. Our prayer for Barack Obama should be that he has a personal relationship with Jesus and is guided by God’s wisdom and discernment, just as king Solomon prayed for it many centuries ago. We should pray that he would be the greatest president possible, and not hope for his failure. All of our presidents are men of great ability but some waste their talent. It is our responsibility as Christians to pray for our President, our Vice President and all those in office for salvation, for wisdom and for discernment to do what is right for the people.

We pray that our country seek the God that our forefathers looked to and that they seek the wisdom and knowledge that only God can give. Remember, though, that our ancestors came from other countries and we should teach our children of our ancestors and the country they came from. We also need to remember to pray for the military from all countries around the world.

TRIBUTE TO "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA"
Tuesday, September 11, 2001

firemen lifting flag

September 11 is a day that will always stay with us... We continue to remember those that lost loved ones on that day - that they find peace and comfort from God, our Father... For those that survived the attack that the memories and scars would mend... We are thankful to all the Rescue Workers (firemen, police, paramedics, EMTs, clergy and civilians) and pray that they too would find comfort from God...May America join in unity and stand strong to declare "America Stands United"

POW/MIA Flag

A Pentagon ceremony for National POW/MIA Recognition Day was held on Friday, Sept.19, 2008. This ceremony featured troops from each of the military services. The President issued a proclamation commemorating the observances and reminding the nation of those Americans who have sacrificed so much for their country. Observances of National POW/MIA Recognition Day are held across the country on military installations, ships at sea, state capitols, schools and veterans' facilities.

This observance is one of six days throughout the year that Congress has mandated the flying of the National League of Families' POW/MIA flag. The others are Armed Forces Day, Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day and Veterans Day. The flag is to be flown at major military installations, national cemeteries, all post offices, VA medical facilities, the World War II Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial, the official offices of the secretaries of state, defense and veterans affairs, the director of the selective service system and the White House.

There are still many men and women that are still Missing In Action Prisoners of War. Let us not forget them to continue to pray until each one is accounted for and returned home.
