Tribute To A Great Friend – Bear

For him, there is no more suffering or pain. He now walks the streets of gold, doing what he always loved to do best - worship and praise the Lord. He shall be missed but will always be here in our hearts and thoughts.

Bear was always an asset to any channel he would be in. A man, who loved God, loved his wife and took his responsibilities serious. He was to me, a cherished friend online and off and though, greatly missed, he shall live on forever in our home, our chat room and our hearts.

Bear was a very special part of my life. He was a friend that was always there when everyone else left. When I was first disabled, he was there to keep me company along with a teenage friend.

He was my inspiration to keep going on when things got tough. When even those close to me would hurt me, he was there to encourage me. While others came and left, Bear remained. Always there with a word from God (though, sometimes dragging his feet for fear of losing my friendship). There was nothing that anyone could do or say that would sway him to give up a friendship that we both held so dear.

We had many fun times we had in chat rooms When we would exchange gifts, our least favorite candy bar was always tucked somewhere in the wrapping (a personal joke between us). Bear’s gifts were always ones that touched my heart – usually a book to bless me in a special way. We were always able to mix serious with joy and the lives that he touched will bring him great reward. Never shall anyone find a friend so dear and so true and God surely blessed me by sending Bear into my life...
