You may copy for personal use but it may not be published in print or on the web without prior written consent from me. The only sites I have given permission to use my tutorials can be found HERE. If you see my tuts placed anywhere other than the places I have listed, please contanct me or Protect Our Tuts. You can contact me, HERE Thank you very much!

This tutorial is in collaboration with Rosepetal. She wrote a tutorial on how to make the background and I tested it for her. While testing it...I decided I wanted to animate it. She mentioned she wanted to animate it, but it didn't turn out right...and so, as a result of our conversations, I've written a tutorial on how to animate her background. You can make this background by going to her site: HERE

When done making her background....you can come back here and animate it! It's not very hard to do....I can guarantee you that!

So, if you're ready to get to it....flex those finger muscles.

Let's do this!

REMEMBER TO SAVE OFTEN!!!

*Note*: I made this graphic in PSP7, but there shouldn't be too much of a problem with doing it in PSP6.

Tools you'll need for this tut:
PSP7 Animation Shop: Found HERE
Sparkle Tube: Download HERE (from Hoods PSP Tube Downloads)

Step 1:
• Open up the star background you've just made
• Shift + D 3 times(this will duplicate your image 3 times.)
• Close your original star background

Step 2:
• In your tubes menu, find the sparkle tube size 20
• MINIMIZE two of your background panels
• Place tube on a set of stars (2-5 stars) on open background panel
• Change tube size to 10
• Place tube on a second set of stars (2-5)
• Save as a .gif image - name as bkgd 1 or panel 1

Yellow circled are my first set, red is my second

Step 3:
• Move this panel over to the left of PSP (keep it open)
• Open another background panel
• Using tube set at 10, place sparkles on first set of stars
• Using tube set at 20, place sparkles on second set of stars.
• Save as a .gif image - name as bkgd 3 or panel 3

Step 4:
• Move panel 3 over to the left
• Open last panel
• Using tube set at 15, place sparkles on both sets of stars
• Save as .gif image - name bkgd 2 or panel 2

Step 5:
• Open Animation Shop
• Click the first button on your tool bar OR go to File > Animation Wizard
• Click: Same size as the first image > Next
• Click: Transparent > Next
• Click: Upper left corner of the frame, With the canvas color > Next
• Click: Yes, repeat the animation indefinitely, 20 seconds > Next
• In order of 1, 2, and 3, load your panels > Next
• Click: Finish
• Go up to View on your tool bar and click on animation. A little window will come up that will let you preview your new animated background.
• If you like what you see...go ahead and save it.

And that is it! =) An animated background! You can also use different colored sparkles. Blue also works well!
