Ok...are
we ready to press on? Lets do this!
Step
16:
Foreground should be set at #F0AC7F and background
color at #FFDFD0.
• Click on your shapes tool > Ellipse
• Node Edit > Make a shape like the following:

Convert to Raster Layer, rename "neck" and send
this layer below the face.
• Click Selections > Select All > Float
• Click Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout (Vertical = 10, Horizontal
= 5, Opacity = 100, Blur = 42.5)

Step
17 (you can save here):
We are now going to work on her shirt:
• Change background to whatever color you prefer and your foreground to a darker shade of that same color.
• Click Shapes Tool > Rounded Rectangle
• Draw rectangle over the neck layer
• Drag the two inside nodes on the top line up slightly

We need to add 2 sets of nodes, 2 on each side.
•
Position them like I have below, bringing the two bottom,
outside nodes (green arrows) up and slightly out..
• The two "red" nodes pull slightly out to the
side
• The two "blue" nodes are just a tad inside the
two nodes above it. Right click on the left one > Node Type
> Cusp. Drag the arrow slightly up to create a "sleeve".
• The two nodes with the green will both have cusp type
nodes. Pull the top arrows out to the side to create "curves".
Convert to Raster, rename "shirt".

Step
18:
Click Selections > Select All > Float
• Click Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout (settings: Vertical/Horizontal = 3, Opacity = 100, Blur = 30, Shadow = foreground color)

Step
19 (you can save here):
Change foreground to null and background to #FFDFD0
Click Shapes Tool > Rectangle
Draw a rectangle the width of the shirt and drag
layer below the shirt layer.
Set the two bottom node types to symmetric and drag
the arrows in to create a "waist".
Convert to Raster and rename
layer "waist"
Click Selections > Select All > Float
Activate your cutout filter with same settings but
shadow set at #F0AC7F
• Turn off all layers but your shirt and stomach layers and merge visible
• Rename "upperbody"

Step
20:
Let's make some pants!
• Foreground color = #000080, background color = #4245D0
• Click Shapes Tool > Rounded Rectangle
• Draw a rectangle from "waist" downward
• Using node type cusp on different nodes shape hips and
pants to your liking
• Convert to Raster and name layer as pants
• Go ahead and decorate your pants. I used Eye Candy 4000
> Weave > Denim
• When you are done decorating your pants Click Draw > Freehand
(Size 1, foreground = black, background = null, ONLY antialias
checked) Draw lines like I have below to add some detail.
If you can't see the details too well, go back to the first
page and look at the girl I have there.
.
Step
21 (You can save here):
You can decide to add cuffs to your pants or not.
Simply add a rounded rectangle to the bottom of each side
(make sure you convert to raster)
• Using your node edit you can change the shape of your
cuffs.
• Below I added fur to her cuffs using the Eye Candy Plug
In
• If you make cuffs. Turn off all layers but your pants and cuffs and merge visible, renaming to pants.
• SAVE YOUR WORK!

Great
work! Take another break! When you come back....we can move
