Did you enjoy your break??? Ready to move on??? Ok...let's do this!

Step 22:
Let's make her arms!!
• Change foreground to #F0AC7F and background to #FFDFD0
• Click Shapes Tool > Select Ellipse
• Draw a narrow oval on the left side
• Node Edit > Shape into a boomerang
• Convert to Raster and rename as Left Arm
• Click Selections > Select All > Float
• Click Effects > 3D Effects > Cutout (settings same except blur: 20)
• Deselect

Step 23: (you can save here)
• Duplicate your arm layer and mirror.
• Arrange right arm the way you desire.
• Turn off all layers but the two arms and merge visible, rename "arms"

Step 24:
Now we will make her shoes. They are going to be oversized.
• I'll leave the shoe color up to you, but make your foreground color a darker shade of your background. (Remember these colors, we'll use them again)
• Activate the bottom layer on your palette. Shoes are to be under the pants.
• Draw an oval, rotate slightly to the right.Convert to Raster, rename Left Shoe
• Click Selections > Select All > Float
• Click Effects > 3D Effect > Cutout (V: -5, H: 3, O:72, B:20, Shadow: black)
• Apply cutout again with all same settings EXCEPT horizontal (-3) opacity (40)
• Deslect

Step 25 (you can save here):
• Click Shapes Tool > Ellipse
• Change foreground to black and your background to #808080
• Draw an ellipse just a tad bit larger than the shoe and rotate slightly to the right as you did previously
• Convert to Raster and arrange so that it's very close to the edges of the shoe.

Step 26:
• Keep same foreground and background colors.
• Pull up Ellipse and draw another oval like the first two, just bigger.
• Look to the following examples as a guideline.
• Convert to Raster > Selections > Select All > Float
• Activate Cutout plug in (V: -5, H: -3, O: 82, Blur: 20, Shadow: Black)
• Apply Cutout again (V: 5, H: 3, 0: 82, Blur: 20, Shadow: Black)
• Deselect
• Turn off all layers but the three for the shoe. Merge Visible, rename "left shoe"

..........

Step 27 (you can save here):
• Change colors back to what you used for top part of left shoe.
• Draw another oval, like an egg on it's side
• Shape as in the example below.
• Convert to Raster > Selections > Select All > Float
• Activate Cutout plug in (V: -2, H: -7, O: 82, B:20, Shadow: Blk)
• Deselect

Step 28:
• Change foreground to black and background to #808080.
• Click Shapes Tool > Ellipse
• Draw an ellipse like you did in the previous step (egg on its side)
• If this layer is not below the shoe, do that now
• Shape this ellipse so that it matches the bottom of the shoe.
• Convert to Raster and move so that it's pretty close to your shoe layer

Step 29: (you can save here)

• Keep same colors and draw another, even bigger ellipse
• Again, drag this layer down under the ellipse you just drew
• Node Edit and shape into the sole of the shoe. This will be thick looking.
• Convert to Raster
• Activate Cutout (V: -4, H: -10, O: 90, B: 20, Shadow: Black)
• Apply Cutout again, changing horizontal settings (10)
• Deselect, Turn off all layers but the 3 you just made, merge visible, rename "right shoe"

Alright! Guess what??? We only need to make her hair and eyebrows! And then we are through!

Step 30: (you can save here)
• Pick a background color for her hair, make foreground color a darker shade
• Click Shapes Tool > Rounded Rectangle
• Draw a rectangle the width of her head, length is not too much of an issue.
• Tilt the rectangle to the left (about the same angle as her head)
• Node Edit > Add a Node in the middle of the top line (node type: cusp)
• Draw both arrows up a bit.

Step 31:
• Add about 4 nodes to the bottom line of your rectangle. (Node Type: Cusp)
• Look at the image below. All the red arrows point to nodes I've added. The blue arrows point to the original nodes.
• Drag the two nodes on the bottom right and the two on the bottom left down toward her feet.
• Play with the arrows on the different nodes to make her hair. I've used both the cusp and symmetric node types to make the waves.
• Convert to Raster, rename as "hair".
• Click Effects > Noise > Add (set at 10)

Step 32: (you can save here)
• Add a new layer
• Keep Foreground same color, Background is Null
• You may use the free hand if you wish. I used the following process to make the details a little smoother. My freehand is not so good. *grin*
• Click Draw > Single Line (Antialias & Create as vector checked, width: 1)
• Draw a line down her hair
• Node Edit > Use arrows to make the line wavy
• Quit Node Edit > Convert to Raster
• Repeat this process as many times as you wish, alternating lengths
• If you've done freehand, lower the opacity of the layer to about 50.
• If you've done it the way I have, Turn off all layers, including the hair, but the details you've just done.
• Merge Visible > Lower Opacity to about 50
• Turn on your hair layer and merge visible again, renaming "hair"

Step 33: (you can save here)
• Click Draw > Freehand tool > ONLY antialias checked, width 1
• Foreground same color, background still null
• Move to the top of her head, and draw details like I did below:

Step 34:
• Selections > Select All > Float
• Add a new layer
• Click Airbrush > Select a color of your choice (preferrably something that compliments the hair *grin*)
• Airbrush near the crown of the head and the bottom of her hair
• If you want it darker in certain areads, airbrush another layer or two
• Click Effects > Blur > Guassian Blur set between 5-7
• Click Effects > Noise > Add (set at 10)

Step 35: (you can save here)
• Background and Foreground should be set at what you used for her hair
• Click Shapes Tool > Rounded Rectangle
• Draw a rectangle from the middle of her face down to the middle of her shoes
• Send this layer to the bottom
• Convert To Raster
• Draw details the same way you did in step 32
• Airbrush the same way you did in step 34

Step 36:
It's EYEBROW TIME! When we're done with this...we are THROUGH! WOOHOO!
• Colors are up to you, just make foreground the darker shade.
• Activate the top layer in your layer palette
• Click Shapes Tool > Teardrop
• Draw a tear drop and rotate so the point faces to the left
....Make it large enough to work with. You can resize when you're done shaping
• Node Edit
• Push the bottom, middle node up
• The arrows on the node at the point will push in so it makes a sideways "V".
• The node to the right will be pushed up some so that its a little more rounded off.

.....

• Resize for her face and rotate as needed. Remember that you will need to sharpen you image. It tends to get blurry.
• When you have the eyebrow the way you want it, duplicate > mirror > rotate to the left.
• Again, the rotation is up to you, depending on how you want to place it on her face.
• Merge Visible ALL layers
Decorate as you wish.

Here is my finished product:

You are DONE! Great JOB! I hope you enjoyed doing this tutorial! Please feel free to let me know what you thought of it...good or bad. Thank you for visiting!
