Can You Help?

The book "God Exists. The Evidence" is aimed at the non- believer, the luke warm, and those who through lifes trials need a reference of certainty that their belief, their faith and persecutions are not in vain. The book not yet complete will be about 2000 printed pages. And believe me to place all there is would need much more than this. Still, in certain areas your help is needed.

I am a successful journalist from England. I resigned from being a conventional news reporter, to reporting the works of God. So far, I have had three offers for publication for this book. Two Catholic publishers and one very large non-Catholic publishing company in London. At present marketing control is being negotiated into the sale of serial rights.

The amount of letters I have received following interviews about this book, that say either "No one can prove God exists" or "Why bother trying to bang atheists heads against a brick wall?" I think here is a good place to answer these questions and lay them to rest.

The main statement in regard to God is, is that you cant believe in that which you cant see. But the truth is there are many elements we cant see, but we know they exist because we witness the works they do. We do not see the wind, but we know it is, every time we see a tree top toss backwards and forwards. In the same way we know and can show God is, by His works; both during biblical times and throughout the ages. God's existence can be shown, through mythology, through creation, through history and archaeology, through prophecy, through witness, healings, answers to prayers, visions, apparitions, miracles, all that defy the laws of nature. Reason and logic proves God is.

Yet the world we live in seems largely ignorant of God. He is not a part of their lives. Every soul is precious to God. There are those who refuse to listen and deny God because they do not want to change their life style. But there are others that do not believe God is, simply because they do not have all the facts. Now remember how our early Fathers of the Church evangelized! See how they taught people by using prophecies about Our Lord and by God Himself revealing He is through healings and other such things. We now live in a time where the same evangelization is necessary. As for the question on why we should "bang atheists heads against a brick wall". Well, I have already answered that here. Because every soul is precious to God.

I want to relay something that I experienced. I was in hospital, on a terminal ward. In two days I watched as three people died. One lady in particular, named Margaret, was on the ward. She was dying, in her last hour. Her bed had the curtains drawn and she was alone and so very afraid. I kept hearing her scream out "I don't want to die" over and over in the most heartbreaking fashion. But no one went to her. She was just left. Her cries felt like a knife in my heart. An orderly walked past and I shouted to him "Can't you help her? She is so afraid". He opened her curtains to give me full view of her and walked away. I pulled out my Rosary and I began to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy for her. I had barely began and she cried out with all this fear much louder and I broke down and cried. I stopped the Chaplet and just pleaded with God to help her, to show her He is merciful and that she is not alone. I prayed, "If only she knew you are, and how merciful you are, she would not be so scared".

I then continued to pray the Chaplet. As I did, Margaret sat bolt upright and stared, squinting her eyes, straight at me. She did this so fast and abrupt, she made me jump. My prayer was a whisper, she could not have heard me. She laid back down and as I prayed the Chaplet, she stopped screaming the words "I don't want to die". She became calm, and it was as if she was speaking to someone unseen. She said "You're taking me today. I am going with you today". I finished the Chaplet and Margaret passed away peacefully. The staff allowed me to pray this Chaplet over three ladies who also died.

Believing in God is just the beginning. St. Paul wrote "We plant the seed and God makes it grow". Faith is something completely different than belief. You can know that someone exists and not have faith in them. Even Satan knows God is! But belief is needed before faith can emerge. It is the first step. And depending on how much we believe can determine how much faith we have.

Faith is a gift from God. Each one of us have our own testimony of the receipt of this gift. Me, my belief came as a very young child. I was not born into a religious family. One evening it began to thunder and my step mother told me not to be afraid that "it is God just making the beds in Heaven". I never heard of a God before that time and for along time I actually believed Heaven was a place filled with beds, and God went around making the beds. More importantly, the knowledge that there is a being, up there, way in the sky, watching us, was the most wonderful knowledge. My perception was a kind Father, who watched us, heard us, helped us, loved us. My mum never went that far, but child like perception and imagination did. I danced for Him as a little girl. I talked to Him, drew Him pictures, and wrote Him letters.

Then when I was about eight, it dawned on me no one talked about God. No one around me seemed to acknowledge Him and I told God that He must feel very lonely, and very hurt, being ignored. I obtained a map of the world and would spend hours in my room talking with "Father" as I always called Him, describing how I was going to build a boat and sail the world and tell everyone about Him, so He would not be ignored and alone. I never owned a Bible, never saw one until I received a Gideon New Testament at the age of 11 from school. This book, God Exists. The Evidence, is this calling, a little child's promise to tell the world, show the world He is! At the age of 8 or 9 something happened at home and this "Father" helped me, taught me something, and showed me He is! even though I knew this already. My conversations had always been one way. I never expected any different. But one time, for the first time this changed.

However to finish and complete this promise from this then tiny little girl, I need some help, some input. I need personal experiences or public ones that you have witnessed, in or through (holy water ect) places such as Lourdes, Betania, Medjugorje, Fatima, any other apparition place. Healings, powerful answers to prayers. Any grace connected to Divine Mercy, a particular Saint. Also I know there is a book, a collection of all approved healings in Lourdes, and I am also after any information concerning a lady known as "Mary the Seer" and the resurrection miracle of a baby in Vadiakkadu, on the East Coast of India. Apparently there is a video on this? Anyone who has or knows of experiences in the Ukraine, Egypt, Russia, China, any approved Shrines. People who have witnessed the miracle of the Sun, near-death experiences, anything that you think might be helpful to others. Any photographs you may have that can be scanned.

I can give an example of one personal healing at Lourdes sent to me from a man from Singapore. He and his brother had a rare blood disease. No treatment helped and medical science was not as great as now. The two little boys were given less than one year to live. In desperation, their mother took them to Lourdes. As the little boy went into the water, he saw a Lady coming towards him. A Lady with light. She touched this gentleman and his brother and all illness left them. When they were examined by a doctor, the incurable and terminal illness was cured. This was never reported. It is personal and something staggering, giving glory to God and hope to people that learn of this event.

For publication if it is preferred, only first name and country will be given. Anyone that can contribute with anything they think may help- big or small: email me at:
