This is My Body

When the hour came, Jesus and His apostles reclined at the table. And He said to them:
"I have eagerly desired to eat this Passover with you before I suffer. For I tell you, I will not eat it again until it finds fulfillment in the Kingdom of God."

After taking the cup, He gave thanks and said:
"Take this and divide it among you. For I tell you I will not drink again of the fruit of the vine until the Kingdom of God comes."

And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them saying:
"This is My Body given for you, do this in remembrance of Me."

In the same way, after the supper He took the cup, saying:
"This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."

In my own words

I don't claim to be some kind of Theologian, or have any more knowledge then the next person.
But ever since I saw the "Passion of the Christ" Movie, I have learned a few things.

I understood a lot more deeply how much Our Lord has suffered for us all.
Every blow he received I felt deeply in my soul, every tear shed by His Holy Mother and Mary Magdalene I cried with them.

I had the priviledge to watch this movie all by myself in an empty theater.
This could only happen in Holland, but nevertheless, it was special, it was as if this movie was made for me...

I also realized after watching this movie, that I really don't want to be the cause of any more pain to Our Lord, or to anybody else for that matter.

The words "Love each other as I have loved you" have gotten a whole new meaning in my life.

I also understood how lucky I am that I have been given the gift of Faith!
I am able to receive Our Lord every Sunday in the Eucharist, where the "Passion" is being replayed on the Altar and every altar in the world, over and over again.

Watching this incredible movie also made me Love our Lord Jesus more.
It's like I have fallen in Love with him, and this is such a great feeling!
I am just writing my thoughts here.

I want to Thank Jesus Christ, My Love, The God-Man, God the Father, God the Holy Spirit, I want to thank Mary, I want to thank the Angels!
I want to tell them, I LOVE YOU!

And lastly I want to thank Mel Gibson! For having the courage and guts to make this Movie, for having so much faith.

I want to thank James Caviezel, for playing the part so passionately.
I want to thank Maia Morgenstern, who couldn't have played a better Mary, and all the cast that played a part in making this miracle happen.

Love you all,
Marianne.

John: 15:12 Then Jesus said: " My command is this:
Love each other as I have Loved you."
