The message here applies to everyone.
Life can be hard,
but with God comes His strength, His courage, and His peace.
He loves us unconditionally.
People let us down,
but He will never leave us nor forsake us.
Praise the Lord!

I walked along a garden path
And felt God's presence there,
And noticed how even the largest trees
Lift leafy arms in prayer.
God seems so near when soft winds sing
Their message through the trees,
And there is peace beyond compare
For blessings such as these.
The lacy ferns so delicate,
Swaying in the gentle breeze,
And the coralbells and poppies
Growing underneath the trees
Are samples of God's handiwork . . .
A tranquil, hushed retreat.
And the beauty of each thing He made
Brings refreshment deep and sweet.
May there be for everyone
A spot where they can share,
The beauties of creation
Forgetting worldly cares.
A quietness so peaceful
And a heart so filled with love,
That they may have serenity
And peace from God above.

And you, just like a gardener,
Can choose which seeds you'll plant.
And by the choice of seeds you sow,
You choose the harvest you will reap.
So don't plant seeds of lack or fear,
Disease, discord, or doubt.
Plant, instead, the seeds you want;
Then things you want will sprout.
This gift of choice is given to all,
And not to just a few.
The harvest, friend, is in your hands:
The crop depends on you.
So take this power which you've been given,
And use it every day,
To gain from life the good you want,
For you have found the way.

Let us be obedient
Let us love one another
Turn up for meetings
Turn up for service
Turn up to help one another
After planting, may you "Grow in Grace
and in the knowledge of our
Lord and
Saviour Jesus Christ"
(II Peter 3:18.) And may you reap rich results.
He looks for a place to plant,
searching the hearts of men;
Too often the soil is hardened,
and cannot be used by Him.
But every now and then He finds,
A heart tilled and ready for seed;
And there He plants the seed of faith,
in the soil of the one who believes.
Day by day the garden grows,
as He sows the seed from above;
And the Spirit, comes to dwell in it,
God's beautiful garden of love.

I woke up early today, excited over all I get to do
before the clock
strikes midnight.
I have responsibilities to fulfill today.
I am
important.
My job is to choose what kind of day I am going to have.
Today, I can complain because the weather is rainy or.
. I can be
thankful the grass is getting watered for free.
Today, I can feel sad that I don't have more money or...
I can be glad
my finances encourage me to plan my purchases wisely
and guide me away from waste.
Today, I can grumble about my health or...
I can rejoice I am alive.
Today, I can lament over all my parents didn't give me when I was growing up or...
I can feel grateful they allowed me to be born.
Today, I can mourn my lack of friends or...
I can excitedly embark upon a quest to discover new relationships.
Today, I can whine because I have to go to work or...
I can shout for
joy because I have a job to go to.
Today, I can complain because I have to go to school or...
eagerly open my mind and fill it with rich new tidbits of knowledge.
Today, I can murmur dejectedly because I have to do housework or...
I can feel honored because God has provided shelter for my mind, body, and soul.
Today, I can reflect on life and feel regret
that things have not worked out as I had planned or...
I can rejoice that I have begun a new life in Christ.
Today stretches ahead of me, waiting to be shaped.
And here I am, the sculptor who gets to do the shaping.
What today will be like is up to me.
I get to choose what kind of day I will have!
The Miracle of a New Day.
