I will be adding more pictures with a few more steps to baking your homemade bread along with some of my favorite bread recipes. For now, I hope you enjoy what I have!

Hot bread fresh from the oven!

This is the recipe I usually use. There are others as well that I might add here from time to time.

White Bread

2 pkgs. yeast
1 qt. lukewarm water
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tbsp. salt
10 cups flour (approx.)

Dissolve yeast in water. In large bowl put sugar, oil and salt. Add yeast mixture and stir. Let stand undisturbed 5 minutes. Stir in flour 1 cup at a time till right consistency. Knead 15 minutes. Let rise 2 hours. Punch down. Let rise 10 minutes. Shape into loaves. Let rise 1 hour. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. Makes approximately 4 loaves, depends on size.
