Basic list of activities for each country

1.  Background Information:

Look up information about this country to find out where it is in the world and to find out what it is like
to live there.  Are there any interesting animals in this country you would like to learn more about?  If so,
list them here:

2.  Map Work

Find a map of the world, or the continent that this country is in. Make sure that it is one you can color.
Color in the country you are learning about.  Are there any major bodies of water in or next to the
country?  Label them on your map.

3.  Reading

Read a story that is about this country or that takes place in this country.  It can be real or fiction.  Also
now will be a good time to learn about the animals that you want to learn about.

4.  Writing

Write about the country to tell what you learned about on a separate sheet of paper.  Also tell in your
paper what continent this country is in.  You can also write about any of the animals that you learned
about for a science report.  Add pictures and/or maps to your paper as you desire.

5.  Sharing

Find someone to read what you just wrote so that they can learn about this country too.

6.  Filing

Once your paper is finished and it is copied neatly with no errors, file the paper away in the right
section of your binder.
