| "Just
A Nurse's Aide"
"Just
an Aide", I heard someone say,
As you
passed by their way,
But
they just didn't realize;
You
are worth more, than money can pay.
You
try to make us comfortable,
So
we'll feel more at home,
And do
for us all the things,
That
we cannot do alone.
The
first person who greets me every morning,
With a
kind and gentle smile,
Is a
nurse's aide, paid by the hour,
Not by
her many traveled miles.
At the
end of day and its time to rest,
They
bow their heads and have done their best.
They
thank the Lord for their daily bread,
For
patience and strength,
For in
His steps they were truly led.
There
is a little bit of love,
Within
every nurse's aide's heart,
God
molded them of special clay,
And
set their special work apart.
Not
just an aide, but an earthly blessing,
Than
Heaven itself must surely supply;
So you
just can't help believing,
They
must be "Angels in disguise"
Raye L.

This
poem is shared to inspire nurse's aides and nurses to go that
extra
mile in caring and having compassion for the sick and elderly.
If
you are in the Health care profession, remember to do unto
others
as you would have them do unto you. God will
reward
those who treat His people as He would. Be the very best
you
can be, and the best will always come back unto you.
