Make A Joyful Noise

Make a joyful noise. Come magnify the Lord
Come into his presence with a song and praise,
Let everything that has breath praise ye the Lord
He fills our hearts with laughter and joy all our days.

Rejoice and be glad for our Lord is on the throne
He reigns in kingdom power from above,
O worship and adore the Creator of the world,
Who gave his only Son the gift of life and love.

Our praise is pleasing unto the Father
The sacrifice of our lips is accepted in his ears,
He hears our every prayer and answers,
He will give peace and wipe away all tears.

Let all creation worship and adore our God,
Who will forever reign on High,
One day we shall see him and will behold his majesty,
And live with him forever in glory by and by.

Worshiping The Lord

Make a joyful noise unto God, all ye lands. Sing forth the honor of his name,
make his praise glorious....Ps. 66: 1-2

The Psalmist David knew the importance of worshipping the Lord in spirit
and in truth. He put his whole heart into praise and was called "a man
after God's own heart." All creation praises the Lord for his majesty
and glory which has been shown forth to all Nations. We are told in
the Psalms that all the earth shall worship and shall sing unto God.

God is pleased with our praise as worship opens the "windows of heaven" for
God's children. He dwells in the midst of the praises of his people. There are
many different ways his people express their heart unto Him. The method does
not matter to God as much as the motive as God searches the heart.

As the praises go up, the blessings come down. Today is another opportunity
to give him "thanks" and express our heartfelt praises unto our Heavenly Father.
No one is exempt from the command to praise as his word says, "let everything
that has breath....praise ye the Lord." He has blessed us with another day
of life and hope in Him. We are to praise Him for his
lovingkindnes is better than life.
May his name be glorified and magnified.
