"HOLDING
FAST OUR PROFESSION OF FAITH"
"Let
us hold fast the profession of our faith without
wavering; (for he is faithful that
promised;) And let us consider one another
to provoke unto love and to good
works." Heb. 10: 23-24
We see troubled times in these last days and many
are turning away from the faith and their first
love. There is pain and suffering all around
us and the enemy has tried to cause fear and
unrest across this Nation and the entire
world. True peace comes only by keeping our
minds stayed and fixed upon the author and
finisher of our salvation. We must believe
to receive and cast off all doubt and fear.
We are admonished to "hold fast" our
confession of faith in Christ. When one
wavers they are not convinced that God will
perform all that he has promised. To waver
is to doubt and not fully rely on the promises of
God. James 1: 6 tells us "he that
wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the
wind and tossed about.
We are to be 'rock solid' in our faith and not
moveable as the waves of the ocean which are
tossed to and fro. This is "holding
fast" our profession or confession of the one
in whom we trust .
"In God We Trust" is more than just
words written on our money. It must be
written within our hearts and sealed by the Spirit
of God. Reliance in any other
foundation will fail when the storms of life come
our way.
Let us remember that He "who is
faithful" promised to be with us in good
times and bad times. He will never leave nor
forsake us. We can rest assured He
will never allow more to be put on us than we can
endure.
May we always consider one another and provoke
each other to love and good works for our
Lord. Consideration for others shows forth
the love of Christ. If we put Him first in
all things, we soon find He really is there for us
in all our times. Our times are in His
hands.
Hold on to the blessed assurance of faith.
Faith is the "substance of what we hope
for" in Christ. It is the foundation of
the evidence we know is there, but is unseen to
the natural eye. Only with the "eyes of
our spiritual discernment" can we behold the
living words of truth as proof He is the great
"I am". He will be there with us until
the very end of the world and through all
eternity.
Jesus speaks to us each new day with words of
comfort and life. "In his favour is
life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy
cometh in the morning. {Psalm 30: 5} This is good
news for a child of God. We are in his
favour and love with eternal joy promised. Come
morning there will be eternal victory for the
child of God.
Believe and Hold on........God's eternal morning
is almost in sight! Until that day we can
say with confidence, "I believe!"
Blessings in Christ,

Righteousness
Noah
was called a righteous man in his day.
Can we be considered righteous in our day?
1
John 3: 7 tells us the answer.
"Little children, let no man deceive you; he
that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he
is righteous".
We are told in Romans 4: 24 to put on the new man,
which after God is created in righteousness and
true holiness.
We
are the "righteousness of God in Christ"
and he delights in those who walk in his ways and
steps.
"The
steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and
He delighteth in his way. " Psalm
37: 23.
If
our steps are directed by God, we can be assured
"goodness and mercy" will follow us all
the
days of our life.
