Early will I seek thee Lord
And call upon your name,
You are in each waking moment,
And your promises we can claim.
When the morning sun begins to shine
And birds sing out with glee,
You are calling to your children,
"Come spend some time with me."
All across this earth; are souls in need of you.
You will be there always; so faithful and so
true.
One on whom they can depend and call.
Your Spirit moves across this land as you are God of all.
So early will we seek your face
And spend some time in prayer.
And know that when we call your name;
You will answer and be there.

J. P.'s Inspirations
Those that seek the Lord early each day shall find him.
When the sun rises over the earth and the birds begin to sing
a morning melody, the Spirit of the Lord is waiting for his children
to welcome him into their day. Communion with the Lord makes each
day take on new meaning. As the sun warms the earth and gives it
light and life; God's presence puts zeal into our life and his word gives us light.
The Psalmist David knew the power of prayer and fellowship
with the Lord.
His request was for the Lord to hearken and hear the voice of his cry and
to consider his meditation. Our meditations on the Lord and prayers for others
do not go unnoticed. He is always there and intercedes for us as our Great
High Priest. No request is insignificant or no problem too big for God to hear
and meet our need.
Focused prayer is a prayer directed only to the Lord and out of pure motives.
Our prayers are as a sweet incense rising to the Father and are pleasing
to Him when we worship in spirit and in truth.
We are told to lift up holy hands without wrath or doubting in worship to God.
May our hearts be stirred each new day to arise in his power and strength.
He can carry us through the day and embrace us with his love in the
midnight hours, if we look to Him. His love will compass us about with favor
as a shield. Let all them that put their trust in him rejoice and shout for joy
for He will defend and bless his children.
Blessings in Christ,
