FAITH
OF A CHILD
Simply trusting God in faith without doubt
Knowing God will surely bring us out,
Leaning on Him and not to our own understanding
We walk by faith and keep on standing.
A child like faith is blessed by the Lord
All who look to Him shall receive a heavenly reward,
One day He shall call for his own,
When we walk by faith....we are headed to our
eternal home.

CHILDLIKE
FAITH
"But Jesus said, suffer little children and
forbid them not to
come unto me, for of such is the kingdom of
heaven."
Matthew 19: 14.
There
is a children's song called, "Jesus Loves The
Little Children" which we used to hear when our
children were growing up. The words to this song are
so true. The song says, "red, yellow,
black or white, they are precious in his sight,
Jesus loves the little children of the world."
It is not just children which our Lord loves, but
His love is for all ages, young or old as He is no
respecter of persons. We must all become as a
little child to enter into the Kingdom of heaven. A
child has trust in their parents as they depend on
them to supply all their needs. We are to be this
way also and not doubt in any of the provisions
which God has promised. We are also to love as
Jesus loved and we see He was no respecter of
persons. His love is for all as He bids them to come
unto Him. Even though we are to become mature in
Christ, we are to keep a child like trust in God as
we believe nothing is impossible for Him to do.
In Matthew 19, the people brought little children to
Jesus that He might pray for them. The disciples
thought at first small children should not be
brought to Jesus, and rebuked the people. Jesus then
told them to let these children come unto Him and
not to forbid them, for this was the type who would
inherit the Kingdom of heaven. No matter what
age one may be, we must all fully trust in our
Heavenly Father. Jesus told the people,
"truly, truly, whosoever shall not receive the
kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter
therein." We see the importance of having
faith as a child in order to enter into
heaven. Jesus took the children up in his arms
and blessed them. He will do the same for us
when we simply trust in Him with all our heart.
We know the Bible says not to lean to our own
understanding, but sometimes miss what Jesus is
saying to us. In our mind and thoughts, we all
have doubts and do not see things as we always
should. When we lean on Jesus and let our mind be
stayed upon Him by trusting with all our heart, we
will have the same type faith as a child. We can
always depend upon God who knows what is best for us
and desires that we be made whole. May our faith
increase each day as we, like the little ones, look
to our Father and know there is no greater
love. No one ever cared for us like
Jesus! May His name be praised today and
forever.
