Because
He First Loved Us
We love him, because he first loved us.
1 John 4:19.
There is a poem with the words, "how do I
love thee, let me count the ways." Love
is the greatest gift of all and when we speak of
love, we think of family, friends, lost souls, but
most of all we think of Jesus. Could we ever
count the many blessings our Lord has given us or
ways we love Him? Our love for Jesus is not
the same as the love which the world displays but
is a supernatural love. It is
supernatural because He places this love within
our hearts and it is to be unconditional.
God gives us the ability to love others as He
loved, even though opposed or rejected. This
is truly a supernatural love and not as love shown
by the world. Regardless of the
circumstances, we can have the unconditional love
of Christ. We may not always agree or
love the ways of people, but within their soul is
the ability to choose to be who God wants to make
them as is within each of us.
When people ask us why we love the Lord, it should
be simple to answer them. We love Him
because He first loved us. He loved us
enough to die for us while we were yet sinners,
that the price for our redemption might be paid in
full. We have been set free from the bondage
of sin and given freedom in our calling as
servants of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Our love for the Lord is not determined by dark
clouds or sunny skies, rain or shine, storms or
the calm times in our lives. Our love is to
be determined by the purpose and blessed hope we
have within our hearts. We can have the fullness
of joy promised to us. It is a joy to dwell
in his presence as he speaks words of
encouragement and promises of hope.
His love is a like a rainbow of promise as he will
never let us be destroyed by the floods of the
enemy. When the enemy of our soul comes in
like a flood to destroy God's property, the Spirit
of the Lord will always raise up a standard or
banner. This banner is Jesus, who has been
high and lifted up. He is exalted as King of
King and Lord of Lords. Claim today that
"no weapon formed against you shall
prosper" and go forth in the strength and
might of the Lord. Remember, He has
already gone before us and the final war has been
won. We have the victory in Jesus.
Amen!
Blessings in Christ,

LOVE
| How
do we love Him..... |
| we
cannot count the ways. |
| We
love Him with our heart,
mind, |
| and
soul..... each and every day. |
| The
love we have for our
Lord, no... |
| it
could never compare, |
| With
the love He first had for
us..... |
| the
love he came to share. |
| If
we had been the only
one |
| who
was perishing and lost, |
| Our
Lord would have paid the
price, |
| he
would have paid the cost. |
| His
love is for every man, every
tribe and |
| Nation, |
| This
love changes lives... |
| makes
one a new creation. |
| Love
that is boundless will
endure |
| throughout
all eternity, |
| He
gives this love to us freely
when he sets |
| our
souls free. |
|
| Because
He first loved
us, |
| we
love Him with all our heart, |
| And
because of His love... |
| our

Philippians 4:13 reads:
"I can do all things through Christ who
strengthens me."
The
road to success is not straight. There is a
curve called Failure. A loop called
Confusion, speed bumps called Friends, red lights
called Enemies, caution lights called
Family. You will have flats called
Jobs. But, if you have a spare called
Determination, an engine called Perseverance,
insurance called Faith, a driver called Jesus, you
will make it to a place called Success.
