was the true Light, which lighteth
every man that cometh
into
the World. He was in the
world, and the world was made
by
Him, and the world knew Him
not."
John
1: 9-10
Jesus
is the light of the world who brings
victory and freedom to our lives.
By
His Spirit, His Word illuminates our
hearts and enlightens us to his
will and ways. His Word is
living, active and is able to change
hearts and lives forever that one
might be victorious
in Christ. He loved us so much
He died
that we might live and have a
more abundant
life.
We
have so much to be thankful for each
day. We have not only the Living
Word of God and His
Holy Spirit, but we have the written
Word which is powerful and active and
will guide us
each day as we mediate on Him.
God's Word brings light, life and hope
to a lost and dying world
when they look unto Him.
Just as the flowers and plants must
have sunlight to grow and
thrive, we must also have the
"Son's light " to mature and
grow in grace. Without
the
revelations of the Lord which he has
given us in His Word, we would
not know how to live as we should and
fully trust in Him.
Each
day we can walk in the light as He is
in the light and be blessed.
Thanks
to the Lord for being with us always
and for guiding us safely through
this
life until he calls for us. Then
we shall inherit all the promises and
our
"blessed
hope" to rule and reign with Him
forever.
What
we do today depends on how we will be
judged tomorrow and how
we
will go forth with the Lord. We
have free will and choice to choose
the ways of the
Lord and give thanks to for
our salvation which is the greatest
gift of all. Whom
the
Son makes
free is free indeed! We
have freedom in Christ and can share
his light and
love. We are to be bright lights in
a dark world today. Praise His
name for being set
free
and for the promises which He has
given us. May
we seek to be his "light
bearers" to
illuminate and reflect his glory to the
lost and dying of this world.

light of the world is Jesus
