Love
Lifted Me
"For God so loved the world that he gave his
only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on
him, should not perish but have everlasting
life."
John 3: 16.
When we were growing up we sang an old hymn
called,
"No one Ever Cared For Me Like Jesus."
This song still is so true when we consider that
God's love is the greatest love of all. He
sent his only begotten Son because He knew this
would be the perfect sacrifice to reconcile and
bring fallen man back to God. God's plan is
that all come to repentance and live an abundant
life through Christ.
Because of sin, it was necessary to have a
Mediator between God and man, one who could bridge
the gap and be worthy to open the Book seen by
John in the Book of Revelation. There was no other
except Jesus who could become as we are in
the flesh, yet without any sin or guile. His
blood was the only righteous blood which could
wash away the sins of the World and bring a new
and better covenant of Grace. He took the curse of
sin to fulfill God's plan for redemption.
Grace is "unmerited favor" or God's
riches at Christ's expense.
He is still touched by the feelings of our
infirmities and was a man acquainted with
sorrow and grief. He came unto his own and
his own received Him not. Many still
reject Him today.
He still loves and calls unto them to "come
unto Him." His love is an
unconditional, boundless, and unending love.
May we always see the one with the greatest
"heart" of all.
His heart was given not only for man but to all
mankind. He gave his life that we might
live. As we give him our lives, we too can
live. His love still amazes us and his grace
is sufficient always.
Offer up sacrifices of praise today to the one who
gave his
only Son and the greatest love of all, Christ
Jesus. His love lifted us, placed our feet
on the solid rock and will keep us as we keep
holding on to Jesus. His love is the
greatest gift of all.

Love
"Love is very patient and kind,
never jealous or envious, never boastful
or proud, never haughty or selfish or
rude. Love does not demand its own way.
It is not irritable or touchy. It does
not hold grudges and will hardly even
notice when others do it wrong. It is
never glad about injustice, but rejoices
whenever truth wins out. If you love
someone you will be loyal to him no
matter what the cost. You will always
believe in him, always expect the best
of him, and always stand your ground in
defending him.
All the special gifts and powers from
God will someday come to an end, but
love goes on forever.....1 Cor. 13: 4-9

God's Love Is The Greatest Of All
In the fullness of time, God sent his Son to this
earth,
He was born of a virgin........and angels rejoiced
at his birth.
His name was called Jesus... who would save us
from sin,
The one who lives forever, our Savior, Lord, and
friend.
He walked among men and taught them his ways,
Was sinless and perfect....all of his days,
He walked Calvary's Hill..... to an old rugged
cross,
Willingly laid down his life.... to save the lost.
There is no other with a love such as He,
No other friend who would die to set us free.
His love was the greatest, as God sent only his
best,
To ransom lost souls, give peace and true rest.
The greatest love of all now forever reigns,
His love never changes, it is always the same.
Each day of the year.... every minute of the day,
He hears our words.... when to Him we pray.
God cared enough to send his very best,
Do we care for Him?.......Will our love stand the
test?
Remember to thank Him with praise from your heart,
Not just on this day........ but as each new day
starts.
