                           Narrow Is The Way

"Heaven can be entered only through the narrow gate! The highway to hell is broad,  and its gate is wide enough forall the multitudes who choose it's easy way.  But the Gateway  to Life is small, and the road is narrow, and only a few ever find it."  Matt. 7: 13-14...Life Application Bible

Life is meant to be the road to heaven as we live for the Lord each day.  The gate to heaven and eternal life or the way is called narrow.  This does not mean it is hard to become a Christian.  It simply means there are many ways one can live their life but only one way to life which will give eternal life with God.  The way of the cross still leads home and there is room at the cross for each person who will choose  the Lord Jesus Christ.

We must believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven  because he died for our sins and made us right before God.  Although living his way may not always be easy, it is the only true and right way to go.  The highway to destruction  is broad and the gate to it is wide enough for all the multitudes that may chose it's easy way.  The Bible tells us the gateway to life is small and the road narrow, and few there be that will find it.  Each person who chooses the broad way has turned down eternal life with Christ and freedom from the bondage of sin.  The pleasures of sin are only for a season and there is a payday ahead for those who choose to continue in unrighteousness.  There is also a reward for the righteous who shall be given a crown of life.

It is said that the teaching of Moses in a nutshell was "do unto others as you want  them to do for you."  Our Lord also taught us that a disciple would be known by his love for others.   Be ye kind one to another are great words of advice for successful living and the assurance of blessings returning unto us by the Lord.

Although the way may be narrow, there is plenty of room for all who choose this right way.  The roadmap is easy for all to understand as the way is straight and Jesus is our compass which points to the Father.  May we stay on the straight and narrow road and help others find their way on this path of righteousness.  Each day men and women are slipping off the broad path into destruction and eternal separation from God.  As we proclaim his Gospel truths, His Spirit will quicken hearts to come out from among the world and be separate.  This narrow path is a highway of holiness and those who enter in must all enter through Jesus, the Door, who has opened the veil for us to come boldly to the throne of grace.

Thanks to our Lord for providing a way for all to come Home to the Father.  Being a part of the Family of God is our assurance of covenant blessings and eternal life.  The narrow road is the only way to go!  Even though the way is narrow, there is freedom all along the way for those who choose this road.  Up ahead are the lights of home where we shall live forever.  Praise the Lord that  we are "heaven bound" and He will see us safely on the rest of this journey.

Hope In the Cross

There is room for all at the cross,
Room for the rich and for the poor, old or young,
There is hope for all at the cross,
All one must do is believe and receive God's only Son.

What a wonderful life there is with the Lord
Who came and died on Calvary's tree,
What blessed hope we have in Him,
Who rose again and has set us free.

The way is narrow and the path is straight,
Which leads to eternal life,
There is only one way through Jesus the Gate,
And one can be free of all sin and strife.

Reach out today and share the Gospel of life,
There is a future for all who will receive,
Souls are perishing without hope,
But can be saved if they will only believe.
