It's time to rise above the cares, 
That would try to weigh you down, 
Time to rise above the woes, 
That Satan tries to bring around. 

This is the day that the Lord has made, 
A day to give thanks and be glad, 
No matter what may come our way, 
Whether good times or the bad. 

The morning calls unto us, 
As the birds sing out with glee, 
The Saviour gently whispers, 
Come spend some time 

Each day we know we are closer, 
To the coming of our Lord, 
Each day we are drawing nearer, 
To receiving our final reward. 

One day it all will be over, 
There will be no more sorrow or tears, 
We will hear the last trump of the Saviour, 
And have no more worry or fears. 

So start your day with praises, 
Unto the Father above, 
Thank Him for sending His Son Jesus, 
And you will feel the warmth of His love."
