He
is the anchor of our soul
Always
steadfast and true,
He
is the Captain who pilots our
ship
And
makes our lives brand new.
The
wind and the waves may toss us
about
As
we travel through life's seas,
But
with the Lord at the stern we
are secure,
He
is the one who set us free.
So
as we sail on to our brand new
home
We
will pass through each
tomorrow secure
Jesus
will guide us and in his love
hide us,
He
will calm every fear and dry
every tear.

It
has been said that
"the soul of
man is like a
ship...sailing on
the seas of
time."
Storms
may come and storms
may go, but if
Jesus is the Pilot of
our vessel and anchor,
we will safely reach
our destination to
the shores of
heaven's harbor.
I
have read that large
ships all have a
water line marked on
the side as a safety
measure.
If
the water is a
fraction of an inch
over this water line
before time to set
sail, the ship must
be
lightened to insure
safety in traveling
through the seas.
This is an example
of our lives.
Each
of us have a
spiritual water
line, or limit as to
the burdens or
weight we can carry
without going under.
If we allow too many
burdens to accumulate
in our lives and
do
not give them to
Jesus, we risk being
overburdened with
cares and possible
shipwreck.
If
you feel burdened
down with cares
today, remember to
give your cares to
the Master of
the
wind and the waves.
Cast all your cares
upon Him, for he
careth for you.
He will take them
away and
give his burden with
is light and his
yoke which is
easy. Don't
let the waters of
this world cause unnecessary
cares when Jesus can
speak peace
and the
troubled waters shall
be still.
When
we lay aside every
weight which might
beset us, Jesus
will be the wind
beneath the sail to
guide us on.
He is an anchor
which we can cling
too and know we
are safe as we
go forward
in
life's journey.
He is sure and
steadfast and has
interceded for
us today.
Thanks
to the Lord
for
sailing the
seas of time with
us. He
promised never
to leave us and we
can depend on his
faithfulness
as we sail safely on
toward home.
