There
were
three
crosses
lifted
up
...
that
day,
But
the
one
in
the
middle,
was
for
me.

Three
crosses
stood
on
a
hill
far
away,
But
our
Saviour
was
the
middle
man
...who
took
our
place
on
this
tree.

The
cross
he
was
laid
upon
...
and
so
freely
gave
his
life
upon,
Was
lifted
up
to
heaven
above,
This
was
prophesied
so
very
long
ago,
He
would
draw
all
men
...
by
sacrificing
this
kind
of
love.

He
even
grew
the
tree,
...
He
knew
would
be,
The
old
rugged
cross
on
which
...
he
would
die.
The
nails
driven
in
his
hands
and
feet
...
were
not
what
held
him,
It
was
love
in
his
heart
for
all
mankind.

We
were
not
there
when
they
...
crucified
Him,
We
didn't
see
him
suffer
and
die,
But
our
sins
were
there
that
day,
The
ones
who
crucified
him
were
...
also
you
and
I.

Oh
the
pain
He
must
have
borne,
As
He
hung
upon
the
cross,
Oh
the
suffering
he
must
have
known,
As
He
died
for
us
and
for
all
the
lost.

Mercy
was
granted
and
for
me
He
died,
I
wasn't
there
but
all
my
sins
were,
When
our
Lord
was
crucified.

Thank
God
for
the
man
in
the
middle,
Our
Saviour
who
came
in
flesh
...
as
God
and
man.
Thank
God
He
took
our
place
at
Calvary,
He
is
our
Redeemer...
and
on
His
promises
we
can
stand.

We
would
be
guilty.....
without
hope
for
the
future,
Without
the
cross...
and
our
Saviour
who
died,
But
God
provided
one
perfect
lamb,
And
for
our
sins
He
was
crucified.

Today
we
stand
forgiven,
Today
we
stand
in
His
mercy
and
grace.
Today
we
face
the
future,
In
blessed
assurance
we...
have
been
forgiven
and
saved.

Oh
what
a
wonderful
Saviour,
Oh
what
a
wonderful
Lord,
One
day
we
will
live
with
Him
eternally,
One
day
we
will
receive
our
reward.

The
sufferings
of
this
life
will
all
be
over,
One
day
we
shall
live
with
Him
on
high,
One
day
we
will
cross
that
river,
We
will
live
forever
and
never
die.

From
the
cross
to
the
grave,
From
the
grave
to....
resurrection
victory
above,
Because
of
His
death
and
resurrection,
We
have
a
promise
of
eternal
life
and
love.
