For we walk by faith, not by sight....2 Cor. 5: 7.
Walking the Sands of Time
Each day we walk the sands of time
And leave our footprints behind,
Each day we go forward and cannot recall,
Sands in the hourglass.....only thoughts of the mind.
Each footprint is different and no two are alike
As each walk in different paths along the way,
But all must walk on the straight and narrow road,
In the steps of our Saviour each new day.
We must press forward in faith and not turn back
As we look forward to life's goal,
And in our hearts we must hide his Word,
As we seek his ways and promises to behold.
The sands of time move swiftly
Through the dawning of each day's door,
One day when the last grain of sand shall fall,
Footsteps of faith shall lead to heaven's shores.

J. P.'s Inspirations
When a person receives Christ into their life, they are a brand
new person on the inside. It is now "Jesus on the inside" doing his work,
through the Holy Spirit, which will be shown on the outside as
one yields unto his will and ways.
It is the Spirit of God that gives new
life and power to live for him. As new creations, we are living in vital union
with Christ. One does not merely turn over a new leaf, as many say, but actually
begin a new life with a new Master at the moment they receive Him.
God brings one back to himself by reconciliation and the blotting out of
sins to make righteous. Christians are no longer strangers or foreigners
when they trust in God, but are now his children.
Because we have been reconciled to God, we are now given the privilege of encouraging others
to do the same. We are Ambassadors sent with a message of reconciliation
to the world. As sins were poured into Christ at his crucifixion, his righteousness
is poured into us at our conversion.
This was Christ's atonement for sins.
In this world when one barters or exchanges something, it is usually for
what is of equal value. This was not the way it was with our Lord.
He traded his righteousness for our sins and cast them away, as far as the East is from
the West, to remember them no more.
How grateful we should be for our Lord's goodness given unto us.
How marvelous was his grace shown us that
is from everlasting to everlasting.
May we always walk by faith as we leave footprints in the sands of
time. There is always new ground to walk upon as we go forth and claim
his promises. Yesterday is gone and tomorrow
may never come.
We will only pass this way once, as each day is as grains of sand passing through
the hourglass of time. May our steps be made in faith as we look
to the Lord to safely guide us and go before us on this journey.
Blessings in Christ,
